Thomas C. Williams, State Secretary

April 2025
My Brother Knights The Convention is right around the corner and your State Secretary is very busy, so this will be a review of previous topics.
Thank you to the Councils who has submitted their Per Capita payments, and their donations to Pennies For Heaven. Your efforts to get your checks to me is very much appreciated! For those Councils who have not yet submitted their payments, please do so in the near future. Remember, delegates can’t be seated for the Convention if the Council is in arrears on their Per Capita payment. |
Convention Deliverables
· Certificate of election – this will be done using the Jotform online application on the WSC website and the email with the link was sent out in February with instructions as part of the registration email packet. The form will need to be completed online, printed, stamped with the Council seal and mailed to me. The new process allows us to store submissions online and make the tracking easier. Councils must get me the stamped CofE or delegates will not be seated at the Convention.
· Proceedings – Convention reports are due immediately if there are to be included in the Proceedings document. I will do my best to include it but can’t guarantee your report will be included if received after Sunday April 6th.
We continue to have special emphasis on making the checks out to the appropriate entity listed below. Please remember that checks made out to Washington State Council but intended for either Columbus Charities or Pennies For Heaven will cause accounting issues. Remember, WSC is a 501(c8) corporation while CC and PFH are 501(c3) corporations. Please take pity on your Secretary and Treasurer and make your checks out properly!
· Pennies for Heaven – checks made out to Pennies for Heaven
· LAMB1882/Coats for Kids/Tootsie Rolls – checks made out to Columbus Charities
· Per Capita/Liability Insurance/KCIC – checks made out to Washington State Council
Checks should include your Council number, if you don’t have it printed on the check itself, please add it to memo line. If at all possible, please avoid staples on the checks, removal tends to tear the checks up. Finally, we have seen a few checks come in without signatures, please take a moment to review your check to ensure it is complete.
All checks should be mailed to my home address:

Thank you for all your work to support our Church and Order.
Vivat Jesus!
Fraternally,
Thomas C. Williams
